Balanced and Centered ~
So often we get so busy in our lives we do not take time to balance and center our being from within. There are those who find great value in meditation and there are scientific studies and research to back up the benefits physically, mentally and spiritually but what if you do not have time to sit and meditate for 15 to 20 minutes? There is great value in taking mere moments to close your eyes, breath on purpose and simply BE in that moment. Especially this time of year when we are moving at a rapid pace, our everyday lives and the holidays make for some frazzled nerves. We are in such a hurry to get things done, we do not listen to our negative emotions, our body begins showing signs of fatigue and we do not rest our bodies properly which will inevitably result in cold and/or flu.
Taking a few moments a day to stop, close your eyes, center your mind and take a few deep breaths, it will do wonders for you, body, mind and spirit.
